We are also glad to see one of our lead investors, Animoca Brands, appear in the report as the most active investor in the blockchain gaming space, as well as mentions of Shima Capital and LD Capital among the most active VCs.
With the report deeming 2022 the hottest year in gaming with 651 announced or closed deals of a staggering total deal value of over $107B in the first six months alone, as Metaverse Game Studios, we are tremendously happy to be listed among the top 10 gaming deals across all verticals of gaming.
Additionally, we have been noted as one of the most significant investments and leading decentralized and multicultural startups with Turkish roots that helped maintain the performance of the gaming vertical in 2022 in the Turkish startup ecosystem. We are honored to see our game Angelic alongside respected Turkish tech giants like Getir, Dream Games, Spyke Games, and Insider.
